PARALYZED NURSE NEEDS ABOUT $15,000 FOR SURGERY TO BE ABLE TO WALK AGAIN.

Justina Thompson who has been paralyzed because of a disease condition urgently needs about $15,000 for surgery to be able to walk again.

Justina was not able to practice again since she could not walk after her internship whiles waiting for her posting. As stated by Justina, it all started when a tumor developed at her upper back which led to loss of balance and then paralysis. She is now confined to a wheelchair.

According to her reports from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the facility does not have the necessary logistics and equipment to perform the surgical procedure and therefore needed to be referred somewhere else. The doctors later informed her that the surgery could be done in India at a cost of $15,000.

The family is now helpless as raising this amount is difficult for them. They are therefore appealing to the public for funds to enable her to undergo the surgery.
